Elimination Communication (EC) or the diaper free baby
Maybe you can already tell we are having a new born baby and experimentell as we are we are trying something which now is call Elimination Communication. Elimination Communication use to be practice by most not industriel cultures who simply didn't had diapers or whom the concept of diapers never occoured and it basically means to not use diapers with your baby and isntead to communicate with your baby and try to understand the babies signs and signals which tell you when she or he has to go to the toilet. There are several books about it. One being the book Diaper Free!
by Ingrid Bauer. My wife calles her a trust found hippie because of her very dogmatic approach. But then there is The Diaper-Free Baby: The Natural Toilet Training Alternative
which is more practically introduction.
Here a couple of link which will lead you to some useful EC products:

Also BabyBjorn

Movie: The Real Dirt on Farmer John (2006)
The movie can be found at Netflix
In The Real Dirt, real-life farmer John Peterson places his bid to bring the community farm revival into the mainstream. John is an unlikely candidate: he talks in a slow, effeminate drawl; his mother is the moral center of his universe; and his habit of plowing in drag wins him no friends in his Northern Illinois rural community. Yet, by the end, you'll want no one else for the job. John is as sharp-witted as he is slow talking, as unapologetic as he is non-conforming, and he's not a little handsome to boot. John's story--told through documentary footage largely shot by himself, his friends and his family over his entire lifetime, and then woven together and embellished by Director Taggart Siegel--is the unlikely victory of a man who refused to be had by the bankers, the gossiping neighbors, or those he said he was too gay-sounding to be a leader in the fight to save family farms. This movie is laugh-out-loud funny, charming, soulful, and always true. It works both as a documentary and as a story. Like the shire in Lord of the Rings, the farm is the home John will always return to. He creates there an agricultural and artistic haven for people who want to share meals, create art, celebrate difference, and bring beautiful vegetables to the people of Chicago. A young woman explains that working among the tomatoes helps her appreciate her own body, and the curves she used to be ashamed of. In the same way, this film will light a spark in all of us who yearn for a healthy rural America, one which provides spritual satisfaction as well as bodily nourishment. (Thomas McElderry)
